A house among trees. Its structure is in steel and it looks like a forest where plants are rooted in terraces with irregular shapes, ponds are crossed by footings and lush gardens cover the roofs. The building has been thought as a living forest, a house on the trees like the houses children dream of and sometimes build.

Without the rigid definitions provided by the sites’s surroundings, 25 Verde’s interior appears deceptively large, the trees mixing with the distant hills to create a continuity that goes beyond the external skin. In the center, a raised garden teeming with birds is cut to create a path through to the 63 apartments present within the complex.

OKEY was able to perfectly blend within such unique environment by using Corten steel sheets as external finishing panels. The OMEGA lock, that doesn’t require the use of escutcheons, further enhanced door’s clean and minimalistic design.
